The video you shared of Senator Jon Ossoff really shows the total lack of integrity of those being questioned. "I don't recall" is a pathetic answer. Both Democrats and Republicans perform political theater.
I am beyond tired of endless war mongering. At least JD Vance voiced some opposition, no matter how muted. I am not sure how often that actually occurs in these meetings. I agree with the author; the real scandal is not how a reporter was brought into a Signal conversation, nor is it a scandal that we get to read our leaders deliberations; the real scandal is how casually and thoughtlessly these elected leaders push for war. Most Americans have no idea anyone innocent even died in Yemen. It is a far away nation with a different culture, and yes, some very bad terrorists reside there. 2 things can be true at same time: bad people can live in another country and murdering them along with the other innocents in the building that fell does NOT make US safer. One nation’s strike against terrorism is another nation’s terrorist attack. The world does not see the US as a force for good, just a force. No matter who we vote for; war is the constant.
And why were they using Signal? To avoid the Official Records Act, the same as Clinton (and Rice and Powell before her) with their private email servers. These people see us, the folks who pay their salaries, as "The Enemy" and we are not to be informed of what they're doing or why.

Great title and informative article, Lenny.
Thanks, Bill. This was obviously an entirely different article when we spoke about it over the weekend!

What is "strength"?
Is "strength" bombing the crap out of Yemen or
is "Strength" being able to stand up to Israel?
If the USA could stand up to Israel, it wouldn't need the "strength" to do its fighting!
